Transmog: shirts

Legion is coming and with it the new wardrobe feature which should free up so much space in banks, bags and void storage. And in my case, guild banks filled up with BoEs as well!

Naturally Blizzard added achievements here, with achievements for having 25 different appearences for each slot – egFashionista: Hand“. Get all of the Fashionista achievements and you’ll get the achievement Fabulous, which rewards the title “… the Fabulous“.

Having logged into the PTR I can see I’ll get most of the Fashionista achievements right away thanks to what I’ve already got stashed away. However I’m lacking in tabards and shirts.

Tabards will be easy – I’ll just take my main around to collect tabards from factions he’s exalted with. I’ve not done that ahead of time as I don’t have the bag space.

Shirts though? That’s another matter and will require some work!

Currently there are 119 different shirts in the game; of which 18 are no longer available for players to get and one comes from the old trading card game.

So of the 100 shirts which are left, where do they come from?

Well, some aren’t usable shirts – eg the goblin rocket pack from the Gunship encounter in ICC counts as a shirt, but only one you can use within ICC. Once we’ve filtered all of those out, we’re left with the below:

Neutral Vendors: 36

You can buy a large number of shirts from various vendors around the world. Most of them appear to be in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

Based out of WotLK’s Dalaran Karandonna sells 16 different shirts, ranging in price from the 25g Amber Filigreed Shirt to 1,000g for Embroidered Shirt.

Also in WotLK’s Dalaran Angelique Butler sells 2 shirts. Both have a medical look, unsurprising given Angelique is a first aid vendor.

Found wandering around Old Hillsbrad Foothills, Thomas Yance sells 19 different items for transmog, including 5 different shirts. Most of the items used to be given to starter characters and I believe this is the only way to obtain them now. To reach him, go to Dalaran and use the portal to the Caverns of Time. Once there, go into the Escape From Durnholde instance to explore Old Hillsbrad Foothills.

Finally we have Broxel Goldgrasp who sells souvenir shirts at the Argent Tournament at the northern edge of Icecrown. There are 5 shirts for each faction and their designs are based around the various capital cities. eg you have the Undercity Doublet and Stormwind Doublet.

There are a number of Cloth armor merchants around Azeroth who sell three shirts.

Brawler’s Guild: 13

The Brawler’s guild has 13 shirts available. 12 from special bosses who each require a different special item to summon them. The 13th is rewarded from the achievement Deck Your Collection from defeating the 12 other special bosses.

You’ll need to be a member of the Brawler’s guild to obtain these shirts and be ready for some fun fights; WoWHead has a good guide for the Brawler’s guild which gives you strategies for all of the bosses, how to gain membership, etc.

You must do this before Legion hits – the Brawler’s Guild is going on hiatus in Legion

Guild Vendors: 9

There are 9 shirts available from guild vendors, all require guild achievements to unlock.

It doesn’t appear you need to be a given guild rank to purchase or equip the shirts.

The vendor Lisbeth Schneider found in Stormwind sells three shirts, along with some other transmog suitable gear.
